Sadr Region, Crescent Nebula, 8 Panel Mosaic

The Sadr region, with its prominent star Sadr (Gamma Cygni), serves as a bright anchor in this field. The Crescent Nebula (NGC 6888), known for its delicate, shell-like structure, stands out amid the surrounding nebulosity, which is rich in Ha emissions. Additionally, in the bottom left part of the mosaic, a faint Wolf-Rayet star OIII emission can be seen, adding depth and variety to the scene.

While this marks the completion of the 8-panel segment, the project itself is ongoing. In the future, this mosaic will expand into a 24-panel composition, extending from Deneb and the North America Nebula (NGC 7000) to Sadr and the Crescent Nebula, providing an even broader and more detailed view of this fascinating region.

Clear skies, Konstantin.
