Milky Way Galaxy as seen from Turkey

Even when I don’t have specialist equipment with me on vacation, I still try to capture the night sky. This shot features our home galaxy, the Milky Way.

The image was taken in Belek, Antalya, Turkey using a 24mm lens on a full-frame camera. To enhance the resolution of the system of relatively large 5.93µm pixels and wide 24mm lens, I stacked 550 frames from a motion time-lapse and applied 2x drizzle.
