M31, Andromeda Galaxy

The Andromeda Galaxy, also known as M31, is a stunning spiral galaxy located approximately 2.5 million light-years away from Earth. It's one of the brightest objects in the night sky and can be observed with the naked eye under good viewing conditions.

This image of the Andromeda Galaxy was captured using a Sony A7C camera and a William Optics RedCat 51 telescope. The telescope, a compact refractor, is known for its portability, making it a great option for both backyard and travel astrophotography.

The image was captured with multiple subs and then stacked and processed to bring out the details and colors of the galaxy. The final image showcases the galaxy's spiral arms and the bright core, along with the dust lanes and the faint outer halo.

It's an incredible example of the beauty and grandeur of the night sky that can be captured with the right equipment and technique.
